A first look of the overhaul of Wigan’s brutalist civic centre has been released, as the team behind the project reveal they aim to make it one of the town’s most sustainable workplaces.

Capital&Centric’s overhaul of Wigan’s former civic centre into the town’s best workplace has been given the go ahead.

Social impact developers Capital&Centric have submitted plans for new town centre workspaces to be dubbed ‘Civic’ to Wigan Council. It’s another step forward for their plans to overhaul the former civic centre to create Wigan’s best workplace.
