Taylor’s Eyewitness was founded in the early 19th century and went on to produce kitchen knives, pocketknives, scissors and sharpeners at Eyewitness for over 150 years.
The “Eyewitness” trademark was first registered in 1838, inspired by Shakespeare’s line in Henry IV – “No eye hath seen better”.

In 2023, Eyewitness nabbed the starring role in The Big Interiors Battle – a tv show that saw 8 interior designers create their dream home. Now you can live in one of the contestants’ apartments!
They all have huge windows, original exposed red brick, and timber beams. We’ve kept the designers’ best bits, so they all have one-of-a-kind kitchens, floors and bathrooms. Available unfurnished for you to put your own stamp on.
