Here’s a small selection of what people have said about us.
  • Capital & Centric’s 25,000 sq ft office refurbishment at 12 Tithebarn Street in Liverpool has been rebranded Tempest as it nears completion.

The £6m redevelopment will be offered as flexible office space for start-up and small companies and includes a new roof garden break out space. The 1970s building had previously been empty for nearly ten years but has undergone a makeover with new cladding and a revamped roof.

The development was funded with the help of a £2.4m European grant for regeneration and Capital & Centric has been keen to stress it will not look or act as a traditional office.

Hoardings around the development show it will use the name Tempest and will offer ‘funky’ office space in the heart of the city’s business district.

Capital & Centric has a number of speculative developments ongoing in Liverpool including the £4m redevelopment of the Bunker building adjacent to the iconic Littlewoods Building, and warehouse and logistics space at Estuary Commercie Park in Speke.

  • Property firm Capital & Centric has boosted its development team as its pipeline of work grows.

Louise Pearson has been promoted to development director and Max Bentham has joined as development surveyor, while Emma Jarrett joins as asset manager, alongside Michelle Rothwell, who has just joined as development surveyor.

Max was a development surveyor at Urban Splash for five years - he left in 2010 and has been a development consultant for the past four years. Max will be working on the company’s £175m mixed-use Aytoun Street project, along with others starting construction this year.

Emma was previously in Germany working in the renewables sector and prior to that was at Property Alliance Group. She has worked in the property industry for the past 15 years.  Michelle has now joined from CBRE office agency.

She announced her departure in September. The reshuffle sees Anna Dooley depart back to consultancy within Deloitte’s regeneration team. She joined Capital & Centric a year ago from Knight Frank.

Adam Higgins, Director at Capital & Centric said: “We currently have three live projects on site and spend £1m a month on construction, with the additional projects commencing this year there will five live construction sites spending over £1m a week, Max, Emma and Michelle will help us deliver these sites in addition to acquiring new projects.”
